  Film properties

  - Hard and abrasion resistant, high gloss

  - Elongation 160%, König hardness 200 sec.

  - Water, humidity, solvent and UV-resistant

  - Adhesion to plastics such as PVC and PC

 

  Recommendation for end-use

  - PVC and non-PVC flooring top coats

  - In combination with acrylic emulsions for plastic coatings (e.g. automotive parts, business machines, Hi-Fi equipment)

  - Metal and industrial wood coatings

  - Detergent resistant overprint varnishes

 

  Formulating guidelines

  - NeoRez R-986 is a very compatible polyurethane dispersion and even suitable for pigment grinding

  - Small additions (1-2%) of Crosslinker CX-100 will improve chemical resistance and mechanical properties

  - NeoRez R-986 is somewhat softer compared to NeoRez R-985 and the best choice when curing conditions are at ambient temperature
